SENTINARA API
The SENTINARA API gives developers, researchers, health offices and newsrooms programmatic access to the same validated data and models behind sentinara.org: WHO dengue surveillance for 199 countries and territories, Indonesia's national and provincial series, 177 sub-districts of Semarang City, early-warning levels, anomalies, six-month forecasts and model performance.
It is free, read-only for data, and published under CC BY 4.0. SENTINARA is a nonprofit organisation of Digivana Group.

- Dashboards and widgets that show the current dengue situation for a country or province.
- Alerting jobs that check
/v1/warningsevery week and notify a team when a place reaches alert or outbreak signal. - Research pipelines that pull monthly series, forecasts and backtests as JSON or CSV.
- Newsroom tools that cite official figures with their date and source.

#Principles
- Official sources only. WHO Global Dengue Surveillance, OpenDengue, Dinas Kesehatan Kota Semarang, World Bank and NASA POWER. Every response carries attribution and the data timestamp.
- Validated before publication. Each weekly refresh passes 20 automated checks; a failure stops the update, so the API keeps serving the last good data.
- Explainable signals. Every warning level comes with the reasons and the signal values behind it.
- Stable contracts. Breaking changes only happen in a new version (
/v2), announced in the changelog at least 90 days ahead. - Privacy by design. No tracking. Keys are stored only as salted hashes. See Security.
#Next steps
- Quickstart: your first request in one minute.
- Get an API key: higher limits and usage statistics.
- API reference: every endpoint with live examples.
SENTINARA provides analysis and education. Warning levels are statistical signals, not outbreak declarations; health decisions remain with health authorities.
